Who is there can intercede In His presence except As he permitteth? He knoweth What (appeareth to His creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they compass Aught of his knowledge Except as He willeth. His throne doth extend Over the heavens And on earth, and He feeleth No fatigue in guarding And preserving them, For He is the Most High. The Supreme (in glory).”

What is 24/7 ?

24/7 is an abbreviation which stands for “24 hours a day, 7 days a week”, usually referring to a business or service available at all times without interruption. The first use of the term “24/7″ was most likely in a popular song of the same name in 1989 by Dino Esposito. Another early known use of the term is attributed to Raymond Sandoval who first used 24/7 during a business presentation. Raymond stated “we need to be available to our customers 24/7, that is 24 hours a day 7 days a week.” In the UK it may be known as round-the-clock service, with or without the hyphens.

Mandela magic at final ANC rally

Nelson Mandela, the former South African president, has made a surprise appearance at the final election rally of the African National Congress(ANC), urging his countrymen to return the ruling party to power in upcoming polls.

A deafening roar from the crowd echoed around the Ellis Park stadium in the Soweto stadium outside the city of Johannesburg on Sunday as Mandela arrived, accompanied by Jacob Zuma, the ANC ‘s presidential candidate.

“The ANC has the historical responsibility to lead our nation and help build a united non-racial society,” Mandela said in a brief pre-recorded message played as he sat on the stage.

“As we strive to secure a decisive victory for our organisation in the upcoming elections, we must remember our primary task. It is to eradicate poverty and ensure a better life for all,” the 90-year-old ex-president said.

It was only the second campaign appearance for  Mandela, who wore a shirt in the governing party’s green, gold and black colours emblazoned with the campaign slogan “Together we can do more”.   [al Jazeera]
